4 Days Double gorilla trekking safari

Our 4Days Double gorilla trekking safari is n exciting experience, it is all about mountain gorillas in the Bwindi impenetrable national park, the conservation area is a known home to half of the worlds remaining population of Mountain gorillas, these live within the four sectors of Buhoma, Ruhija and Rushaga sector of the park freely without being captivated, they are gentle brown eyed mammas, they are most related to mankind, this safari will take you to enjoy mountain gorillas twice, it will give you an opportunity to see gorillas in their natural habitats as they do their day today duties of life.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Upon arrival our company guide/driver will welcome you at the Entebbe international airport, in order to beat time it is important to choose a morning flight for this day, the guide will meet, greet and help you through Immigration , then transfer towards the south western part of Uganda, passing through amazing rolling hills, banana and tea plantations, we will stop over at the Igongo cultural center right before Mbarara town then proceed to the park, we will arrive in time for dinner and staying overnight at the lodge that has been booked at

Day 2: 1st Gorilla trekking experience

Mountain gorillas live deep within the impenetrable forest, this is said to have survived overtime from the ice age period hence a large development overtime, in the world this is one of the few places to see gorillas, it is a phenomenal experience on this day following an early morning breakfast, we will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing from the authorities on basically how to conduct your self while with the primates in groups of 8 per gorilla family you will head into the forest it takes 2-8 hours or even the whole day returning to your lodge for dinner and staying overnight

Day 3: 2nd Gorilla trekking

On this day just like day 1, we will assemble at the park headquarters for the second day in search of the gorillas this time round you are allocated to a different gorilla family to track, these live in families of up to 20 members led by a silver back, gorillas are herbivorous feeding on the forest plants, dead tree backs, mushrooms, they know ho to prepare their food by stripping branches of leaves to feed on inner stems sometimes, they occasionally feed on insects like termites, this day may take more or less hours to find gorillas and an hour is allowed while with them returning for dinner at your preferred  lodge

Day 4: Departure

Following an early morning breakfast, we will be transferred to Entebbe international airport for your out-bound flight, we will stop over at the equator for a picture moment and a brunch, later proceed as we say goodbye to the pearl of Africa!
