Our 4 Days Gorilla trekking in Uganda and Rwanda will take you to explore the 2 of the few holes to see the critically endangered species of the mountain gorillas, in Uganda we will visit the Bwindi impenetrable national park along the southern corner of Uganda, it is home to half the world’s population of mountain gorillas, hey live within the ecosystem freely without being captivated, the ancient forest is said to have evolved overtime withe evident features. While in Rwanda we will visit the Volcanoes national park to the north of the country the conservation area is home to mountain gorillas too while here we will experience golden monkeys an endemic of the great Virunga mountains, do this trip will give  you a chance to track twice. The trip begins and ends in Rwanda.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Upon arrival at the Kigali international airport, our guide representative will meet greet and transfer you to the Bwindi impenetrable national park it takes +/-6 hours’ drive to get to the conservation area with border clearances, arriving in time for a hot lunch and an afternoon an afternoon visit to the community these are a group of the last remaining short structured people in Uganda, they lived in the forest, however due to conservation purposes they were evicted and continued living in the surrounding areas. Day 2: Full-day gorilla tracking.

Morning breakfast after which we will be transferred to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking, a briefing from the Uganda wildlife game rangers in groups of 8 you will be allocated a gorilla family to track, it takes 2 -8 hours to do the activity or even the entire day, the hike through the forest is tough, upon meeting the gentle brown-eyed species this whole feeling melts away as you engage and interact with them, an hour is allowed while with the primates, returning to meet your guide who will transfer you to accommodation

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes national park.

On this day we will check out if the lodge and our guide representative will transfer you to volcanoes national park, the conservation area is home Rwanda’s top visited parks, it is most sought of when it comes to mountain gorillas and golden monkeys, upon arrival, you will check-in at the lodge and relax from the long hikes of Bwindi, enjoy overlooking the misty forest at the dispersal of your lodge veranda, dinner and staying overnight at your prefer accommodation

Day 4: Golden monkey tracking and departure.

Early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for a morning briefing from the park rangers, they will tell you about on how to conduct yourself while with the primates, it is beautiful, golden monkeys are a unique species colored in golden brown and a dash of black, they live in the bamboo forest region of the volcanoes national park, it takes 2-3 hours finding them take pictures and return to the lodge for a brunch, checkout and return to Kigali for your international flight back home.
